12 And it will come about in that day, that the LORD will start His threshing from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered up one by one,O sons of Israel.
13 It will come about also in that day that a great trumpet will be blown; and those who were perishing in the land of Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
Isaiah 40:8 (NASB)

The Promise of the Coming Captivities
1"Now muster yourselves in troops,
daughter of troops, They have laid siege against us; With a rod they will smite the judge of
Israel on the cheek.
7Then the remnant of Jacob
will be among many peoples Like dew from the LORD, like showers on vegetation Which do not wait for man or delay for the sons of men.
8And the remnant of Jacob
will be among the nations, among many peoples Like a lion among the beasts of the forest, Like a young lion among flocks of sheep, Which, if he passes through, Tramples down and tears, And there is none to rescue.
9Your hand will be lifted up against
your adversaries,
And all your enemies will be cut off.
10"And it will be in that day," declares the LORD,
"That I will cut off your horses from among you
And destroy your chariots.
11"I will also cut off the cities of your land
And tear down all your fortifications.
12"I will cut off sorceries from your hand,
And you will have fortunetellers no more.
13"I will cut off your carved images
And your sacred pillars from among you,
So that you will no longer bow down
To the work of your hands.
14"I will root out your Asherim from among you
And destroy your cities.
15"And I will execute vengeance in anger
and wrath
On the nations which have not obeyed."
1 Corinthians 15 (NASB)
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 (NASB)
3 While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child and they shall not escape.
Revelation 9 (NASB)
Sixth Trumpet
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God.
14 one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates."
15 And the four angels, who had been pre‒ pared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they might kill a third of mankind.
16 And the number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.
Revelation 10 (NASB)
Last Trumpet
5 And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven,
6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, WHO CREATED HEAVEN AND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE EARTH AND THE THINGS IN IT, AND THE SEA AND THE THINGS IN IT, that there shall be delay no longer,
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.
